WHAT WE BELIEVE

Learn more about why we do what we do

DECLARATION OF FAITH
The only basis of our faith is the Bible, God's infallibly written Word, the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments. We believe it was unique, oral, and wholly inspired by the Holy Spirit and was written flawlessly (infallibly) in the original manuscripts. It is the supreme and final authority in all matters of which it speaks.

There is one true God, eternally composed of three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Ghost—each possessing in equal measure all the attributes of Deity and the characteristics of personality.

Jesus Christ is God, the living Word, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and His virgin birth. Therefore, He is the perfect Deity and the true humanity forever united in one person.

He lived a sinless life and voluntarily made atonement for the sins of the people by dying on the cross as their substitute, thus satisfying divine justice and effecting salvation for all who trust in Him alone.
He rose from the dead in the same body, though glorified, in which He lived and died.

He ascended bodily to heaven and sat down at the right hand of God the Father, where He, the only mediator between God and man, continually intercedes for His own.

Man was originally created in the image of God. He sinned by disobeying God; therefore he was estranged from his Creator. That historic fall brought all mankind under divine condemnation.

Man's nature is corrupted and so he is totally incapable of pleasing God. Every person needs regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

The salvation of man is wholly a work of God's free grace and is not the work, in whole or in part, of human works or goodness or religious ceremony. God imputes His righteousness to those who put their faith in Christ only for their salvation, thereby justifying them in His sight.

It is the privilege of all who are born again of the Spirit to be assured of their salvation from the moment they trust Christ as their Saviour. This assurance is not based on any kind of human merit, but is produced by the witness of the Holy Spirit, who confirms in the believer the testimony of God in His written word.

The Holy Spirit has come into the world to reveal and glorify Christ and to apply the saving work of Christ to men. He convinces and draws sinners to Christ, gives them new life, dwells in them continually from the moment of spiritual birth, and seals them until the day of redemption. Its fullness, power, and control are appropriated by faith in the believer's life.

Every believer is called to so live in the power of the indwelling Spirit that he will not fulfill the lust of the flesh, but bear fruit to the glory of God.
Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, His Body, which is composed of all human beings, living and dead, who are united to Him by saving faith.

God exhorts His people to meet regularly for worship, to participate in ordinances, for edification through the Scriptures, and for mutual encouragement.

At physical death, the believer immediately enters eternal, conscious communion with the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to eternal glory and blessing.

At physical death, the unbeliever immediately enters the eternal, conscious separation from the Lord and awaits the resurrection of his body to eternal judgment and condemnation.

Jesus Christ will come to earth again—personally, visibly, and physically—to complete the history and eternal plan of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ commanded all believers to preach the gospel throughout the world and to make disciples of men of every nation. The fulfillment of that Great Commission requires that all worldly and personal ambitions be subordinated to a total devotion to "Him Who loved us and gave Himself for us."

Evangelism

We believe that "The Church" exists on earth with only one commission, to bring the lost soul into the Kingdom of God, and that any impediment to worldwide evangelism should not exist in "The Body of Christ" (Matthew 28: 18) -20)

Tithes and Offerings

We believe that one of the best methods ordained by God to support His ministry, spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, and release His blessings is through tithes and freewill offerings (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9 : 7) We believe in tithing and voluntary offerings not out of legalism but out of our covenant with God and devotion to his kingdom.
