Meetings and voting rights

The board meetings are held in ROTTERDAM or surroundings, or elsewhere if all board members agree. At least one meeting is held each calendar quarter. Meetings will also be held each time if the chairman deems this desirable or if one of the other board members submits a request to that effect to the chairman, stating the items to be discussed.

In the meetings, the progress of the annual activity planning is discussed and decisions are made for financial support in accordance with the objective.

Finance

Absence of profit motive

The distribution policy of “Stichting City Church” is aimed at the progress of its mission, for which the continuity and thus the survival of the foundation is necessary. The difference between the funds obtained and the funds spent will therefore only be used to finance activities aimed at the survival and continuity of the church affiliation and will not be distributed to third parties, directors or otherwise.

 

The assets of the foundation will be formed by:

1. the foundation capital;

2.grants and donations;

3. inheritances, bequests and gifts;

4. any other acquisitions and benefits.

 

Financing Activities 

-Providing assistance for social purposes that contribute to the objective of the foundation

-Providing financial support to underprivileged families under the supervision of the board.

-Supporting training and missionary activities

-Providing materials necessary to carry out various activities that are in line with the foundation

 

 

Destination of liquidation balance upon dissolution of the municipality

In the event of the dissolution of the local municipality, the policy is aimed at transferring the assets of this municipality that remain after fulfillment of the obligations resting on it to one or more institutions with an (inter)church or socially responsible objective, an objective in the field of mission or evangelization or to goals that the church as a whole supports, related to its spiritual roots (for example, foreign missions, domestic missionary activities or the training of pastors)

Management

1. The foundation's financial year runs from January 1 to December 31 of the same year.

2. At the end of each financial year, the books of the foundation are closed. From this, the treasurer draws up a balance sheet and a statement of income and expenditure for the ended financial year, which financial statements are presented to the board within two months after the end of the financial year.

3. The board has the books of the foundation examined by an external expert who reports on his findings to the board.

4. The annual accounts are adopted by the board after it has taken cognizance of the report issued by the external expert.

City Church Foundation

Introduction

City Church Foundation is a Christian organization that focuses on proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in various ways. This policy plan describes in a general sense the activities of the City Church foundation. 
The structure of the organization is also described and the financial statements that the organization takes on are discussed.

 

Goal

Bringing people into contact with the gospel of Jesus Christ in a variety of ways.

Teaching Believers. Supporting Christian organizations with similar norms and values. City Church has  the aim is to inform as many people as possible about how to build a relationship with God. With this, City Church aims to:

-Restoring family relationships

-Helping people find their purpose in life

-Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ

-Reaching people of all nationalities

 

Activities

 

Music and dance

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to making the gospel known through music and dance. Also in line with this is the publication of audio and visual material to support the message.

 

Bible study and education

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to the distribution of Bibles and Bible study material. Teaching from the Bible and organizing meetings on biblical themes.

 

Evangelism

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through multimedia, event and various channels, the foundation wants to convey the message of the gospel in a relevant way and support similar actions. This is followed by guiding and teaching new believers or disciples from the Bible.

 

Training and coaching

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to training and coaching people for leadership. This can be on a social, economic, ecclesiastical, cultural or philanthropic level. The search for individual gifts and talents plays an important role in this.

The foundation is also committed to guiding leaders.

 

Men's and women's gatherings

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to systematically training men and women in separate meetings. Responding to the specific problems and challenges per target group from a biblical perspective.

 

Counseling and guidance

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to advise and guide those in need on various topics. This support is done based on Christian principles where the individual is treated in an ethical way.

 

Widows and orphans

The City Church Foundation is committed to widows and orphans locally, nationally and internationally.

By means of fundraising campaigns and collections, the foundation wants to work for the very weakest of society.

 

Church services

The City church foundation organizes local, national and international church services with biblical themes. Preaching, music and singing are an integral part of the church services. Local pastors or foreign pastors may or may not be invited for this.

 

Worship Services

The City Church Foundation is committed to organizing worship services locally, nationally and internationally. These worship services are dominated by the gospel of Jesus Christ and are accompanied with or without dance, music and song on various instruments. During these services, various people gather to share their interest in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

 

Children's church and youth services

The City Church Foundation is committed to biblical education for children locally, nationally and internationally. The City church foundation organizes children's church services, seminars and camps. In the children's church, the gospel of Jesus Christ is passed on to children and young people in a playful way.

 

Domestic gatherings

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to organizing home meetings where education is given from the Bible. Personal contribution and prayer for those in need are also central here. There is also the possibility to answer individual questions from those present.

 

Prayer Meetings

The City Church Foundation is committed to prayer and prayer services locally, nationally and internationally.

Supporting Christian moments of prayer as well as organizing prayer services are part of the foundation's vision and objective.

 

Emergency help

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to people in need. Through food programs medical assistance and assistance to the underprivileged.

 

missionaries

The City Church Foundation is committed locally, nationally and internationally to sending out and supporting missionaries who are committed part-time or full-time to preach the gospel. This may include material or financial support  be donated.
